How the Hart & Cluett Families spent their Summers

Like most prominent people in the 19th century, families made efforts to escape the heat of the summer.  This tour will discuss how the house was “dressed” for the summer and where the three families went to beat the heat!

The Hart-Cluett House Tours are available on select Saturdays from May through November.

Tours last approximately 60 to 90 minutes and leave promptly at 2 pm from the Hart Cluett Museum Admissions desk.

Your tour ticket includes:

• a copy of The Marble House, a book about the history of the Hart-Cluett House.

• Admission to the Museum
