Listen, Drink and Convert T-Shirts into bags!

Speakers: Tom Nardacci & Kathy Sheehan.

Kathy will speak on Troy's garment industry history, labor leader Kate Mullany, plus the dangers, culture and impact of becoming the "Collar City". Tom will regale us with the story of how Kate Mullany’s Troy house became a National Historic Site.

"Making History" Activity: Attendees will use a production line to convert t-shirts into reusable bags in anticipation of 2020's plastic bag ban. RCHS Rising Leaders will teach the technique and provide t-shirts as needed or participants can bring their own t-shirts. It's great re-use for t-shirts that you don't wear but have kept around.

$25 pp - includes one free drink, history talk & t-shirt bag!
