HCM Docents have been workin' hard!

Over the last few months, our docents have been working hard to master the art of tour-giving in the Hart-Cluett House.

Because of their hard work and dedication, we are know able to offer guided house tours on a more frequent basis throughout the year - giving us the chance to showcase proper the Marble House on Second Street.

Each tour includes a copy of The Marble House, a book about the history of the Hart-Cluett House and Admission to our Museum. So not only do you get the chance to see and take in the rich history of the largest piece in HCM’s collection, but you also have an opportunity to learn more about Rensselaer County and the diversity in voices that make up our collective past via our galleries and exhibitions.

A big thank you to our Docents who have worked hard to enable us to share this historic space with our community members, our supporters around the region, and beyond.
