From the Director

Spring is here and the museum is open again!

I am excited about our new programs and our latest exhibition, Cultivating Community: Agriculture in Rensselaer County. Curator, Samantha Mahoski did a wonderful job illustrating the history of agriculture in Rensselaer County and its importance as a force that brings community together. As usual, Kathy Sheehan has crafted a wide range of fascinating programs for the spring season.

Be sure to check our website for program information and don't forget to stop by and see the beautiful teaware that Kathleen Prue selected for our gift shop. Those beautiful cups and accoutrements will make you feel like you are a Gilded Age star! This is a great season to come together and enjoy all that the museum has to offer.

See you soon!
