From the Director

September will be a very busy month at the museum! Our annual meeting will be a great opportunity to hear updates on the status of the museum and plans for 2022. Our fundraising event, A Celebration of History in the Making will be a hybrid event with a fun online presentation. I am excited to announce our new admissions structure. From September through December museum patrons will be encouraged to pay $10-$15 per adult but any amount will be accepted. This free will admissions experiment is intended to remove barriers to seeing our Smithsonian exhibition, The Way We Work(ed). We also hope it will increase visitation and encourage thoughtful discussions about the ongoing pandemic and how it is changing our daily lives, particularly, the choices we make about our work. I hope that you will join us in celebrating the museum and a new season.
