Exhibit Deadline Extended!

It's not too late! (But it's getting there...)

We're just waiting to see what you find!

There's still time to look in that hope chest or check the drawer in the desk for that perfect memento of your childhood that you would like to share in the latest of RCHS’s series of community exhibits. RCHS encourages submissions for the Fall 2018 exhibition, When I Was A Child: A Community Remembers Childhood, which will be held at the museum from September 10 to Dec. 22, 2018 as part of this year’s examination of childhood in Rensselaer County.

We have extended the deadline to submit proposed objects and/or framed works for loan to RCHS that reflect some aspect of your childhood or the childhoods of other family members. Please see the link below for the Application Form, deadlines and other details. Images, artwork, toys, clothing, etc. will all be part of this companion exhibit to Kids, Kids, Kids – Growing Up in Rensselaer County currently on view in the Grimm Gallery. Please note, all loaned objects for the When I Was a Child: A Community Remembers Childhood exhibition will be returned in January of 2019.
