*Please note that Walking Tours, due to new COVID-19 policies and procedures, can only accommodate up to six people (unless you are a couple, then accommodations will be for 8 people). Purchasing tickets will be required beforehand.

September 12th - Happy Birthday Uncle Sam!
Samuel Wilson, aka Uncle Sam, is seen all over Troy - from the statue in Riverfront Park to the Health Food Store on 4th Street. But who is Uncle Sam? This tour will visit sites associated with the man, Samuel Wilson and the legend, Uncle Sam.
September 19th - People, Place & Progress
This introduction to Troy history and architecture looks at how the city evolved from its initial founding in 1789 as a village to its 19th century heyday, decline in the 20th century and to its rebirth in the 21st century. The sites of many important events will be discussed along with some of the people who made the name Troy famous around the world!
September 26th - Walk the walk !
Follow history along the banks of the Hudson from the Cluett Peabody building to the Congress Street Bridge. Troy is a city that was built along the river. We now have a beautiful river walkway to traverse as we explore the history of Troy’s riverfront. Using historic photographs we will trace the growth of the city and the many changes the riverfront has seen in 200 plus years.
