Join us for an evening of story-telling with WMHT. Share your Vietnam stories as Part One of a two-part program documenting this national story with your photos and memories. Record your story and be part of a permanent archive connected to the new Ken Burns/Lynn Novick documentary The Vietnam War, which will premiere locally on September 17 here at RCHS as Part Two of this program.

The evening is also the kick-off for Wartime Stories: The World War I and Vietnam Experience, a new exhibit opening at RCHS on September 11, 2017 honoring those who served abroad and at home. The public is invited to share their stories and images of people involved in these conflicts as part of the museum's year-long look back 100 and 50 years ago to document the war and the home front experience of Rensselaer County residents.

The biographical panels which will be produced for this exhibit and the information gathered from the public about those who served will become part of the permanent collections here, available for research. Sign up Friday for this community project!
