Guided Tours of the Hart-Cluett House

To Heal and Comfort:
Health and Death in the Hart-Cluett House

Using resources from the Hart Papers and Cluett diaries and papers, this tour will focus on the various family member’s experiences with health and death in the house, from childbirth, to epidemics and disease. We will also discuss funeral and burial practices as we explore two floors of the house.

*Please note: The September & October Hart-Cluett House tours will include the first & second floors only. The basement level is not accessible at this time. There is a reduced admission rate for these two tours.

The Hart-Cluett House Tours are available on select Saturdays from May through November.

Tours last approximately 60 to 90 minutes and leave promptly at 2 pm from the Hart Cluett Museum Admissions desk.

Your tour ticket includes:

• a copy of The Marble House, a book about the history of the Hart-Cluett House.

• Admission to the Museum
