Second Saturday Hart-Cluett House Tour

This tour will focus behind the scenes on the kitchen and dish pantries of the Hart-Cluett House – see RCHS’s local stoneware collection “hiding in plain sight” in the 1827 Hart Kitchen Pantry – what was stored there when the Hart Family was in residence in the 19th century.  Visitors will also see the “new” Cluett Dish Pantry, just installed thanks to the generosity of many 2018 Gala Hands Up! donors, with glass and ceramics collections now on view in restored original cabinetry. Find out how these important and often overlooked household spaces functioned and who used them on this new house tour.
