Back to school is in full swing! Area teachers are invited to an open house at the Hart Cluett Museum for a tour of the historic house and a special look at new field trip programs offered this school year. Discover how the museum can bring history to life in your classroom!
Free, open to teachers of any subject and grade level. Registration and more information to come.

Visit the Hart Cluett Museum and Research Library to take advantage of extended hours every Thursday! The Museum and Library will be open 12-8pm for visitors to enjoy our galleries and community space.
Bring your friends to see our new exhibits, We the People… Voting and Democracy in Rensselaer County and Cornerstone of Community: The Founding of Rensselaer County Historical Society, enjoy a group study space with free wifi, or make an appointment to view our archives for research!
Every 3rd Thursday evening we host “Ask the Historian,” an opportunity to hear about Rensselaer County history from County and Troy City Historian (and Executive Director of the Museum), Kathy Sheehan!
