Children are welcome to make their own story featuring “Sameow Wilson,” a feline cartoon charcter inspired by Samuel Wilson. Better known as Uncle Sam, Wilson became famous as a symbol of the American government after the War of 1812.

Children can download the storybook template and use their imagination to write their own story about the adventures of Sameow in the beautiful Hart Cluett Mansion! The completed books can be dropped off at the museum on December 11 or December 18 from Noon to 4pm.

Each child will receive a free chocolate bar for their entry. The authors of the best three books (as determined by HCM staff) will receive a coupon for a free milkshake at Manory’s! Winners will be notified on December 22nd.
